Volunteer Meeting – Make a Difference with Thriving Communities! – Friday, 13th December!

Are you ready to contribute to something meaningful while connecting with an inspiring community? Join us for our Volunteer Meeting on Friday, 13th December 2024 at Llanbradach Community Centre, Church St, Llanbradach, Caerphilly CF83 3LS.

This event is open to all existing Thriving Communities volunteers and anyone curious about getting involved. We provide free training, mentoring, and support, and new roles could even lead to paid opportunities.

Programme Overview:

• 12pm-12:30pm: Meet & Greet – Get to know us and each other
• 12:30pm-1pm: Why Volunteer? – Learn how volunteering changes lives (including yours!)
• 1pm-1:30pm: Nordic Walking Taster – Try something active and fun
• 1:30pm-2pm: Mind & Body Wellness – Activities to relax and recharge
• 2pm-3pm: Lunch & Discussions – Enjoy a free lunch while sharing thoughts and ideas
