Join Thriving Communities & Blaenau Gwent Libraries for the Perfect Afternoon “Pick-Me-Up”

We are thrilled to invite you to our FREE (funded) “Concert, Cuppa & Cake,” as part of the collaboration between Blaenau Gwent Libraries and Thriving Communities. Featuring the brilliant duo Omega 2, this concert takes place on Friday, 21st February, 2025 between 2.15pm and 3.15pm at Cwm Library.

About Omega 2

This is a very talented duo comprising of Jane Williams and Pete Mathison. Jane is a very talented musician who tours with Wild Willy Barratt of Ottway and Barratt fame and Pete Mathison is a fantastic guitarist who played with Ray Davies and the Kinks for a few years, even when they played the Sunday afternoon Glastonbury Legend spot.

Jane and Pete don’t play to backing tracks, they rely solely on the power and musicality of their beautiful, harmonious voices and instruments (guitar and ukelele).
