This is Week 2 of our FREE 6-week Mind and Body Wellness Programme to help you:
The programme includes 90 minutes per week of gentle yoga, laughter yoga, simple and effective breathing exercises plus guided meditations & relaxation techniques. More 6-week cohorts will continue after the Breath to Health workshop if you can’t make this one. If you’ve missed Week 1 of this particular cohort, it’s still not too late to sign up and participate. Once we get past Week 3, it will make sense to wait for the next 6-week cohort.
The subsequent 3-day Breath to Health workshop, for which we require a £50 contribution, will run 10am to 1pm for 3 consecutive days: Thursday to Saturday, 6-8th July 2023 at the same venue as the weekly sessions. The main breathing exercise you will learn is “Sudarshan Kriya Yoga” (SKY). This is a powerful rhythmic breathing technique derived from yoga which has numerous proven benefits in high stress environments.
The sessions will be led by Dr Manmeet Kaur, GP from Pengam Health Centre. They are suitable for anyone 18 or over. No previous experience needed. Simply wear comfortable clothing and yoga mats will be provided if you don’t have one.
