Our workshop is led by experienced professionals who understand the challenges of menopause and can guide you towards practical solutions that work for you.
During the 3-hour session, you will learn:
- Yoga for Menopause: Discover how specific yoga poses and breathing techniques can alleviate common menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, insomnia, anxiety, and mood swings. Improve your flexibility, balance, and energy levels while enjoying a gentle and nurturing practice.
- Laughter Yoga: Laugh your way to better health! Laughter yoga is a fun and effective way to reduce stress, boost your immune system, and increase your sense of happiness and connection. No experience required, just an open mind and a willingness to play.
- Nutritional facts and diet tips for Menopause: Get informed about the latest research on menopause and nutrition. Learn which foods and supplements can support your hormonal balance, bone health, and cardiovascular health.
- Positive Psychology for Menopause: Shift your mindset from negative to positive and transform your menopause experience. Explore evidence-based strategies to cultivate resilience, self-compassion, gratitude, and meaning in your life. Enhance your emotional intelligence and learn how to communicate effectively with yourself and others. We’ll also throw in a laughter yoga session to release any pent-up emotions and get you to start feeling good about yourself again.
- Facial reflexology techniques: Learn simple and effective reflexology techniques that you can do anytime and anywhere to relieve common menopause symptoms such as headaches, hot flashes, insomnia, and digestive issues. Discover how reflexology can activate your natural healing abilities and bring you back to balance.
Our workshop facilitators are:
- Geri Norris, yoga teacher of 30 years and an accredited Menopause Yoga™ Teacher.
- Joanne Crovini, Cardiff-based Nutritional Therapist, specialising in women’s health and well-being
- Mel Jones, a Positive Psychology ambassador and an accredited Laughter Yoga teacher.
- Esther Apoussidis, a fully qualified Reflexologist for Menopause, Meditation Teacher and women’s empowerment coach, applying a special energy kinesiology technique called the Energy Alignment Method.
The workshop also includes a 20-minute comfort break with complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake, so you can relax and connect with other women who are going through the same journey as you. You’ll leave the workshop feeling empowered, inspired, and ready to take action towards your menopause wellbeing.
